More titles for Kyrgios, Radwanska and Murray this weekend

Nick Kyrgios, the controversial Australian tennis player, clinched his third and biggest ATP tour title yesterday after he defeated David Goffin of Belgium 4-6 6-3 7-5 to win the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis final.

Kyrgios, who definately played his best match in the semi-final against Gael Monfils of France, was kept under wraps by Goffin in the first set and despite making a number of errors in the second and third sets, managed to stay focused to take the title and with it, prize money, a watch and 300 bottles of wine, which certainly made him smile.

In the WTA China Open, Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland defeated Johanna Konta of Britain 6-4 6-2. Konta, who entered the Top 10 after defeating Madison Keys in the semi-final, had no answer to the Radwanska game. Radwanska has now earned 20 career titles.

World No. 2, Andy Murray, defeated Grigor Dimitrov 6-4 7-6(7) to win the ATP China Open and in doing so, his fifth title this year and 40th career title. Murray is now only 3695 points behind World No. 1, Novak Djokovic.
