Murray cruises through, Wawrinka tested

The Men’s top seed, Andy Murray, has advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open after defeating the American, Sam Querrey, 6-4 6-2 6-4 on the HiSense Arena today.

Murray, who was hobbling around in discomfort after tweaking his ankle during his second round match on Wednesday, showed little sign of the injury during today’s match and said that he moved better as the match went along.

Meanwhile, on the Rod Laver Arena, the 4th seed, Stan Wawrinka was not having it all his own way and was made to sweat it out during his four-set victory over Victor Troicki, the 32nd ranked player from Serbia. The score was 3-6 6-2 6-2 7-6(7).
