Kyrgios slapped with an AUD7000 fine

It was bound to happen…..again!

The self-confessed Aussie bad boy, Nick Kyrgios was slapped with a hefty AUD7000 fine today following his unsportsmanslike conduct during his second round match against Andreas Seppi yesterday.

Kyrgios, who is no stranger to controversy, was also crticised following his reaction to the former seven-time Grand Slam champion and original “bad boy” of tennis, John McEnroe’s comments, in which McEnroe described the 21 year old’s lack of competing as “it’s just a black eye for the sport. And it’s a black eye for him.”

Kyrgios, who is one of the most talented players on the Men’s tour, is still seeing a sports psychologist following his meltdown at the Shanghai Masters last year.

This talented Aussie needs two things – a coach and a serious change of attitude!
