Dominika Cibulkova, the “pocket rocket” from Slovakia, defeated Viktorija Golubic from Switzerland 6-3 7-5, to claim the Generali Ladies Linz title in Austria today.

Cibulkova didn’t lose a game in the first set but was tested in the second set and had to fend off four set points for Golubic with the score on 5-4.

The win means that Cibulkova has now qualified for the WTA Finals in Singapore for the first time. It is also her third title this year.
