Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark defeated Kristina Mladenovic of France 6-1 6-7(4) 6-2 to win the Hong Kong title today.

This is the second win for Wozniacki in the past month. She won the Toray Pan Pacific Open at the end of September, marking her first title win since April 2015.

Wozniacki, whose season just could not get off the ground, along with being sidelined by injuries, saw her ranking drop to 74, but advancing to the semi-finals of the US Open in August gave her the boost that she needed and along with these two title wins, she will end the year in the top 20.
