If the first week of this year’s Wimbledon Tennis Championships was anything to go by, then there are definately more fireworks in store for the tennis faithful.

Opening the fourth round procedures on Centre Court will be Venus and Serena Williams. The sisters last did battle at the Canadian Masters in 2014, where Venus prevailed 6-7(2) 6-2 6-3. In terms of their Wimbledon history, there is not much separating them – both have five singles and five doubles titles to their names. Venus was a Mixed Doubles finalist, whereas Serena has won a Mixed Doubles title. Serena leads the Head2Head 14-11 and their Wimbledon clashes 3-2. Serena will step onto Centre Court as the favourite but with Venus’ good form of late and Serena’s scare against Heather Watson on Friday, it will hopefully live up to all expectations.

Following the Williams sisters will be Andy Murray(3) vs Ivo Karlovic and then Roger Federer(2) vs Roberto Bautista Agut.

Court One first sees Maria Sharapova (4) take on Zarina Diyas, followed by Stanislas Wawrinka (4) vs David Goffin.

From a South African point of view, all eyes will be on Kevin Anderson who will face the defending champion, Novak Djokovic. The big serving Anderson has only managed to get the better of Djokovic once in their four meetings.
