With the 2015 Wimbledon Tennis Championships getting underway tomorrow, the always much anticipated final between the two “Queens” of tennis, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova will not be on the cards, but a possible semi-final clash may just be.

Williams returns to SW19 as the favourite whilst Sharapova’s topsy turvy form of late sees her seeded No. 4 and falling in the same half of the draw as Williams.

The rivalry between these two stalwarts of the game has certainly heated up and it will be interesting to see, if given another opportunity, whether Sharapova can break the 11 year spell since last defeating Williams twice in 2004.
