As the race for the 2015 Wimbledon Men’s singles title gets underway tomorrow, what may seem like a formality for some, could be serving up quite a few surprises for others.

World No. 1, two-time and defending champion, Novak Djokovic tops the seeded players. Djokovic has already won five titles in 2015, including a 5th Australian Open title, a record in the Open Era of tennis.

One of the greats of the game and joint seven-time champion, Roger Federer, is seeded second. The big question is will the maestro, who has already won four titles in 2015, be able to turn on the magic one more time?

British hopeful and crowd favourite, Andy Murray is seeded third. The Scot, who married his long-time girlfriend, Kim Sears in April this year wrote “Marriage works” on the camera following his first ever clay court victory over Rafael Nadal in the Madrid Open final, and it certainly shows as he has already bagged three titles since tying the knot.

Hot off his 2015 French Open title, Stanislas Wawrinka is seeded fourth. He is the dark horse of the Top 4 and has already won two other tournaments this year. Wawrinka’s best result at Wimbledon was a quarter-final spot in last year’s tournament.

The top four face the following players in the first round:

The other Top 10 seeded players are Kei Nishikori (5), Tomas Berdych (6), Milos Raonic (7), David Ferrer (8), Marin Cilic (9) and Rafael Nadal (10).
